LIGHTING DESIGN, PROGRAMING, DRAFTING, AND SCENIC MODIFICATION

This design embraces the heart of Kinky Boots: the explosive culmination of the discovery of self, vibrant expression, and the momentum of change. Using sharply angled beams, saturated hues, texture, and vibrancy, this design aims to capture the electric performance world that Lola brings into the factory. The look is intentionally high-energy, designed for the number Land of Lola, celebrating the bold, unapologetic spirit that defines the show.

PROCESS
This design was visualized in Capture SE, integrating both scenic and lighting elements. Lighting was programmed using the ETC Eos family software. The 3D scenic elements were sourced from crowdsourced libraries such as 3D Warehouse and Sketchfab. Once imported into Capture SE, I modified these items to to create a cohesive environment aligned with my envisioned concept. Additionally, I built a custom keyboard to control/program in EOS (shown below.)
